Jeffrey asked for a fun and festive shoe box for their party shoes. With the help of artist and cake decorator Carly Jean Andrews, we created actual icing flowers and congrats text on large boards. Each element was then photographed, isolated in Photoshop, and composited to create a box resembling a real party cake.

Rain boot box

For this design, we wanted to take the idea that a rainy day is a bummer and turn it upside-down-- to make a rain boot box that's fun, optimistic and bright.
The quote on the box lid is inspired by Singing In The Rain, and the boots are wrapped in a custom tissue paper printed with a repeating pattern of hand-doodled raindrops and umbrellas.

This shoe box is covered inside and out with prints and patterns made with digitally-collaged imagery from old magazines, books and other paper ephemera. Ty came up with the simple, yet effective text for the lid. Circulating worldwide, this box has become a JC fan favorite.

Jeffrey Campbell requested a fun and quirky shoe box for their Jelly Love rubber sandals. My mind immediately went to oddball jelly desserts of the past, so I created the repeating vintage jelly mold print that covers the box. Inside the box, the sandals are wrapped in tissue paper printed with a traditional picnic cloth pattern, with an accompanying tongue-in-cheek recipe card written by Ty McBride.

The challenge was to create a chic, minimal shoe box, while incorporating Jeffrey Campbell's tongue-in-cheek brand voice. The phrase on the box top is derived from the famous quote by Stephen Chbosky in The Perks of Being a Wallflower: We accept the love we think we deserve.

Shipping cartons
ROLE
Designer
PRODUCER

Jeffrey wanted a 70s-inspired floral print carton for shipping online orders, and for the carton itself to have a life after its use. We imagined cutting and folding parts of the box to create a windowsill planter for sprouting wildflowers in the spring.
The inner flap of the carton is printed with instructions and cutting guides to help the customer turn it into a small tray to fit on their windowsill. Included in the box is a packet of custom Jeffrey Campbell wildflower seeds with growing instructions. The outside of the box includes a metallic warning label with text by Ty McBride.
